Gathered photographic documentation of the crime events which took place in a gallery which are then processed according to the World Press Photo instructional video, which defines what the organizers consider as manipulation and what kind of editing is or is not allowed in the competition. The original video addresses potential conflicts between ethical and aesthetic demands with simple guidelines to ensure the credibility of the image as an impression of what happened. My version of the events does not mitigate the tension between ethics and aesthetics, but rather makes it even more tense, placing it in a gallery setting and thematising its specifics.
